Sale | Zara Shoes

Zara shoes always makes me excited to drop by their store, specially if on sale!

I tried this on at Zara-Shangri-La, and they're really look good!

Specially this high cut, only cost P1990. The brown one is still at 3t still. Well, it's worth waiting for the next reduction. Zara has this 3 reduction phases-The final reduction is the sickest of all. Second reduction is rumored by the 15th...

Even if the High-cut is an eyecandy already. I still got the one in Trinoma. P1990 as well.

The one on the left (low cut) is the new one. The high cut was bought last July. They're almost the same, 'cept for the new one is in leather. the old one was in shiny fabric.

The Platform: PRP Outlet Store

I've posted a lot of entries about People are People-the outlet store. Pre Christmas, I wanted to see what gifts I can get off the store and was happy to see that it got revamped.

It's now a boutique! hehehe, unlike before that it looked like a dump of all the PRP stuffs.

Even with the update, it still has the same rate for the past season's clothes, accessories and shoes.

Here is the direction where it's at: click

The Shoe that got away...Pedro is on sale...

The Shoe that got away…

Pedro is on Sale! Up to 50%. They said the sale will be good til September, until stocks last. Visit their branches at:

  • Trinoma
  • Mall of Asia
  • Bonifacio High Street

This was ranging P4T, now it’s just P1,995. Not Bad for a Pedro Pair, but too bad for me, it’s a 42—am a 43.

I’m a shoe fanatic. I just love them, more so when they're on sale...

I'm Back.... in Brown Shoes

I've been out for quite sometime (April til July) , just doing some transitions at work, but am back... =) Back to blogging and back to a healthy living, exercising --- mall walking.

Since my work demands a 4 day Smart Casual attire, I need to invest on Leather shoes and Non-Jeans Pants--'coz my previous work just required me to come dressed up at work - hence the pile of chucks, comfy shoes, and jeans.

So I went strolling along the Cubao area and headed back again to Rusty Lopez's Factory Outlet Store, see my previous post below on how to get there.

http://saleandalternatives.blogspot.com/2010/01/outlet-store-rusty-lopez.html

I found these ala-Camper brown laced shoes. I was supposed to get a black pair, but these Brown Pair are to be bought, since they're only P600, and yes, they're genuine leather!

Oh well, why wear a gloomy black pair, when there is brown? =)

People Are People Shoes

Yes, I fess up, I like shoes! I mean, I love SHOES! But the thing is, I don't want to spend much on them, so the solution is, Bargain Hunt. =)

This is Chuck, from my Salescapade with Converse on top of other pairs in their boxes, with thumbnails, so I won't get lost. =)
Soon, I am gonna have to get Clear Shoe boxes, like the ones below, to make it easier for me, and for the aesthetic value of it, hahaha. Saw one in Greenhills, but they go for P50 each, way too pricey for me. Am gonna look for it in Tutuban, but if you know one, let me know. =)

So, I was on my Birthday mood last week and really alloted money for buying something for myself. Alas, we were back again in People Are People, the outlet store. Check out my post Outlet StorePeople are People on how to go there.
And then I found this pair!!!!

The Best thing: it's only P999. This time , the "Should I" or "Should I not" unending debate, did not happen, since it's way too cheap and I have alloted money for it.
On the same store, but on another day, I also decided to get this pair from PRP, again for only, P999.

I have my shoes piled on top of each other at my room, so I'd know which one to use for which day of work. I only use frequently, the last pair that I bought, for about a week, then I go on my routine of having them used every other day. That way, they don't get too bumped up and look too used.
Other stores I've gotten my shoes from:
  1. Traffic
  2. Pedro
  3. Kickers
  4. Diesel

Til the next shoe! Hmmm, there already is a new one... check it out... for only P600 =) Bargain challenge!

Outlet Store | Rusty Lopez

I did a post on Cubao Expo, and one of the stores, I frequently visit is the Rusty Lopez Outlet Store.

As an outlet store, you really have to go through a lot of Freakishly designed items or the "Art-had-thrown-up-and-it-got-all-the-trimmings-and-design-in-a-single-item" stuffs.

I have listed below, some of my select few.

Ambience:
The place is filled with a lot of items, that you literally go crazy which to look at and to avoid (eyesores-Ugly Stuffs-things you don't buy at all).

And this is common for Outlet Stores, since they have to sell either last season's designs, or last pair of shoes.

For shoes, what they placed on the display cabinets, would always be the smaller sizes, and they also display available colors, so avoid asking "May Maliit pa bang size to?" (is there a smaller size?) or "Anong ibang kulay?" (is there another color?)

What you'll get from this place?
  • Shoes (His and Hers, Children)
  • Bags
  • Belts
  • Clothes (Tops,His and Hers)

Now, let's go to business =)

This one looks freakishly close to Ferragamo's Black Driving Loafers . Too bad it's a size 45, am a 43. And it's only for P1049.50.

Look at the one on of the left of it--Too many things going on for a shoe.

Driving Loafers are so in. Wear them in skinny jeans or with shorts. I just got a pair of new shoes last week from People are People, but I'll post that separately-Uber excited to share, hehehe.

So I had a discussion with myself, "Should I" or "Should I not", -- and the "Should I" with a Big YES won. This is what I got for myself! in Brown.

It's only for P600, from P2200.

More Loafers...
But this is a bit pricey.

Gladiator shoes are still here for about P800:

Sequined Ballet Flats for about P700:

Bags--these ones go for about P500. Big ones -> P1500

Outlet Store|People are People

People are People is a good store for alternatives to Casual Dress-up. Instead of Regular, plain Longsleeves, you can get a hyped up Shirt from this store.

From Plain shirt to striped, uberly printed shirts.

Love this store! But specially this Outlet Store, wherein Discounts range from 10% to even 70% at some items.

WHERE IS IT:

This store is in Robinson's Galeria, Ortigas, second floor. There are two PRP stores in this mall, one is the regular, pricy boutique, which is in the main building. The Outlet Store is found in the Annex, parallel to Kenny Roger's. If you are fronting Kenny Roger's, go to its left wing.

AMBIENCE:

The outlet store is not a Boutique store, so don't expect the same spacious stall. There are only two fitting rooms, and the place may get crowded during peak hours, like 5pm onwards.

The clothes are hanged up on racks around the stall. Classy Tiangge style. =)

WHAT YOU CAN BUY:

MEN's

  • Shirts [Ranging from P199-P399]
  • Pants [Starts from P700]
  • Black Casual Shoes [Starts from P900]
  • Jackets [Starts from P500]

LADIES'
  • Tops
  • Pants
  • Jackets
  • Shoes/Sandals [Starts from 500]
  • Dresses [Starts from P300]
  • Accessories [Starts from 150]
Let me know what you got from this store, I'll post pictures of what I've bought on my next updates.

Happy Shopping.

Robinson's Starmills|Outlet Stores

This will be a Long Read, so let me get over the stores I dropped by:
  • All Flip Flops [Havaianas]
  • BrandSmart [Lacoste, Armani Exchange, Polo RL, Nine West, Calvin Klein]
  • Guess
  • Mango
  • Plains and Prints
  • Sports and Fashion [Nike, Gas, Sisley, Benetton]
  • American Rag [Terranova and other unrecognized brands]

I went home during the holidays and passed by Robinson’s Starmills, which is VERY visible when you take the San Fernando Exit of the NLEX. This is fronting SM Pampanga.

Just to set your expecations, Robinson's Starmills is not filled up with glam stores. It so happened, it just has Outlet Stores, the second floor of the mall, if not for the FoodCourt, Department Store, and some Gadget store, would be empty.

All Flip Flops [Havaianas]
They have two shops[see picture above]. On the left is the Outlet store, and on the right, is the regular store. Let me focus on the Outlet store.

[Good]
They have several designs for you to choose(well, at least on the day I was there, imagine Summer)

[Not So Good]
Discounts are only at around 20% to 30%. Was thinking of bigger discounts, but that’s what they only offer.

BrandSmart
I love this store. BrandSmart is from the Store Specialists which carries imported brands, such as Lacoste, Armani Exchange, Polo RL, Nine West, Calvin Klein to name a few. I’ll share on another blog other branches they have in Manila—So Subscribe. =)

A few years ago, I was able to buy Armani Long Sleeves for about P500 to P700. That was like Heaven.

When I visited, their Long Sleeves go for about P1090-P2000, from P4000.

Nine West shoes are at P2500 from P5000.

For Lacoste, they carry a very wide range of Bags, for a not so Bad discount, some are ranging from 10% to 20%.

They also have Liz Claiborne accessories.

Guess
This one is an Outlet Store, discounts are really good. A pair of Pants can go below P1000. Wicked!

They sell Men’s, Women’s, Children’s Clothings, and Accessories.

A watch can go 50% off. But if you feel that Robinson’s Pampanga, I’ll share a Guess Outlet Store which maybe near you. This, of course, via another Blog, so keep subscribing. =)

Mango
Last Season’s fashion, yet, they carry a lot of Cuts and Designs, from Tops, Skirts, Pants, Accessories, Bags, Eyewear, Belts, etc. All that you can see in a regular Mango Store, can be found here, as long as you’ve seen them last season. =))

This, by far, is the Outlet Store in this mall, which has the most number of Items on Display. Second is Guess, Third is Plains and Prints.
Discounts are good, from 10% to 50%.
This is where I usually buy my Best Bud, her usual gift from me, Mango Stuff.
Happy New Year MSH.
Btw, I posted recently a blog about Mango on Sale, check it out for the participating Branches.

Plains and Prints
For the corporate people, or people who need casual, semi-formal to somewhat formal clothes, this place is a good stop.

Aside from the 50%, they also have an ongoing promo of “Buy 3, for P997.50”. Cool, Aye.
The cuts are not so Last Season. You can always mix them with a good accessory.
Click here to view my previous post about Accessories at a Cheaper Price.

Sports and Fashion [Nike, Gas, Sisley, Benetton]
This store is a disappointment.:(

It says it has about 4 brands, yet, it only has Nike Stuffs, and the worst news, only the shoes are saleable, the other items, are almost near UKAY UKAY condition.

See Jacket in the picture.

Their shoes are priced relatively fair, some are at 50%.

There are other better Outlet Store of Nike compared to this one.

American Rag [Terranova and other unrecognized brands]
I strongly feel that the store already gave up on Terranova and is just waiting for the store to just close. Hahaha.

This was previously Terranova Outlet Store, now, it’s just included as one of the Brands It carries, though the other three, I haven’t heard of.

Their men’s line is very edgy, reminds me of PRP[People are People].

I'll be posting other Outlet Stores, so subscribe or follow me on twitter, my next ones would be
  • People Are People
  • Guess

If you know of other Outlet Stores, shoot me an email at saleandalternatives@gmail.com.

Boots, Boots, Boots

A friend of mine wanted a pair of boots, and boots she got-2 Pairs.
We went to Trinoma.

At the Landmark Department Store, she got this pair for around P1,800, a good pair, which is a very good alternative to Zara's below:

LandMark's P1800

Zara's almost P4T

She also got a pair from Babo as well. This was a Fab find, it was only for P725, it was on 50% off. They are still on sale. They can be found near Starbucks inside the mall, besides People are People. Nice Cutout Details.
